Analytics & BI Leader · Applied AI

Better decisions, built to last.

I focus on business problems and the commercial outcomes that solving them should deliver. I architected and delivered a regional BI and automation platform that replaced weeks of manual consolidation, and put an inspection app in the hands of more than 100 users across 12 countries. I work with senior leaders to agree what matters, then build what people rely on.

Projects

Independent work, built with AI agents under my direction

Career

I have spent more than 12 years turning data into decisions. I began in supply chain and commercial finance at Sandoz and Brown-Forman, working on inventory, pricing and campaign P&Ls. I then moved into analytics consulting with EY, Keyrus in London and Deloitte, and at Keyrus and Deloitte I managed people and led delivery teams. Most recently I led regional BI and automation for JLL's Microsoft Global Workplace Solutions account across Asia Pacific and chaired its global BI workstream across four service providers. Throughout, my work has been with senior leaders and technical teams, taking data projects from the first question to something people use.

Capabilities

Technical

  • What I do

I design how data gets from source systems into one trusted model, with separate development, test and production environments.

    In practice

At JLL I architected the regional reporting platform in Microsoft Fabric, from reusable dataflows to bronze, silver and gold layers. It replaced a consolidation process that took weeks.

    • Warehouses
    • Power Query
    • SQL
    • Python
  • What I do

I build Power BI models people can trust, and reports that answer the question they were built for.

    In practice

I rebuilt an abandoned JLL parking report on a live data source with a new star schema, and at Keyrus I rebuilt an underperforming snowflake model into a faster one.

  • What I do

I replace spreadsheets and email chains with apps and flows that keep records and follow up on their own.

    In practice

A mobile inspection app for 65 sites in 12 countries in four languages, and flows that warn site champions 30, 45 and 60 days before a certificate expires.

  • What I do

I direct AI coding agents and check their work with requirements, tests, evaluation data and review by a second model provider.

    In practice

The four projects on this site were built by agents under my direction. At JLL, agentic development delivered English/Arabic Power BI reporting to production.

    • workstream governance
  • What I do

I connect analysis to price, margin, cost and return.

    In practice

At Brown-Forman I priced products by pack, customer and channel, built a P&L planning tool the global finance team adopted, and presented the annual pricing strategy to leadership.

    • FP&A reporting
  • What I do

I build things other people can run after I leave.

My agentic set-up · October 2026

For the Techies

My current set-up: multi-provider, modular and transferable. It will evolve over time.

Machines

Omarchy laptop (Linux): the always-on machine. It runs CrateDigger as a service, reachable only over my private Tailscale network.

Mac (M2 Pro, 10 cores): where I develop, and where reelkit renders on the media engine.

iPhone: CrateDigger in the record shop.

Harnesses

Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex and pi, all reading the same AGENTS.md in each project.

herdr: one terminal tab per agent, and the channel the agents use to talk to each other.

How the work is split

A lead agent on Claude Opus plans, briefs, reviews and merges. Workers are picked by task: Claude Haiku or Sonnet, or Codex luna, sol or astra. A model from the other provider reviews the work.

agent-kit gives every project the same commands, hooks and decision log, and links its skills into all three harnesses. Both laptops stay in step through GitHub.

Skills

ship-with-agents, the orchestration skill from agent-kit: the lead plans the tasks, briefs the workers, relays their questions, reviews with another provider and commits.

Data Goblins' power-bi-agentic-development skills for Power BI and Fabric, Claude's dataviz skill, and each project's own skills.

My listening corner: a Rega turntable on a walnut cabinet of records and CDs, a Wharfedale speaker, an orange desk lamp, and Three Blind Mice LPs on the wall and on a stand.

For the Collector

Music is one of my biggest passions: jazz, especially Japanese jazz, alongside classical, electronic, Latin, soul and experimental sounds. Around 70 records, a Rega Planar 3 and a lot of time in record shops.

Music, vinyl and hi-fi
